D3 LED, LLC (D3) is a company that manufactures turnkey LED (light emitting diode) displays and digital media solutions for advertisers, architects, retailers, sports and entertainment venues, and transportation authorities. The employee owned company was founded in 2006 by partners George Pappas, Meric Adriansen and Jason Barak. An American company headquartered in Rancho Cordova, California and New York City, with global offices in United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Australia, New Zealand and Kazakhstan, the company's LED displays and digital media systems can be found throughout the world and most notably include the Walgreens spectacular, ABC Studios super sign, JVC billboard display, Disney Store, Aéropostale, Quiksilver, and Forever 21—all located in New York City’s Times Square. ==History== In their first two years of operations, D3 landed projects in and around Times Square, including the ABC Studios Supersign, two M&M's World displays, the Army Recruiting Station display, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, and the Walgreens display on the One Times Square building, which is the tallest LED display in Times Square. D3 went international and stepped into the sports scoreboard/industry at the same time with the launch of their Baseball Stadium and Basketball Arena displays for Cibao in Santiago, Dominican Republic in 2007 and early 2008. Additional large-scale projects in the New York Metro area include Disney Store Times Square, Aéropostale flagship store Times Square, UNIQLO flagship stores in New York City at W. 34th St. and W. 53rd St., New Amsterdam Theatre, Hard Rock Cafe, Quicksilver Times Square, Forever 21 Times Square, and the Apollo Theatre in Harlem.
